A neat one here! It is constructed out of a die stamped nickel-alloy base that has been silver washed and contains black paint work, under a lacquered finish. The obverse features a centrally placed M16 style helmet that is marked, in black, with an Iron Cross and "Der Stahlhelm" in gothic script in front of an edelweiss flower and surrounded by "10. Reichsfrontsoldatentag 1. U2. VI. München 1929". The hollow back reverse features a horizontally soldered on tombak pin that remains in well working condition. The catch end solder has come off of the pin. Nice silver wash and black paint work remain! It measures approximately 1 ½ inches wide by 1 ½ inches tall. Nice!
