NSDAP Women's League Membership Pin by RZM 63

Here we have a first pattern transitional NSDAP women's welfare organization membership pin! It is constructed out of a die struck tombak base that has been gold gilded and contains white, black and red enamel work. The downward pointing triangular shaped obverse depicts a white Christian cross that has a red static swastika to the center of it, along with "G", "H" and "L" in Gothic style letters to the left, right and lower arms. These Gothic letters signify the Frauenschaft motto, "Glaube, Hoffnung, Liebe" (Faith, Hope, Love). This is above a black base and is below "Nat. Soz. Frauenschaft" (NSDAP Women's League), which is on a white base. The full back reverse is maker marked "RZM" and "63". The soldered oval plate pin is in well working condition. The pin measures approximately 1 ½ inches wide by 1 ¾ inches high. The enamel work is 99% intact! Overall a great example!
