For you Football/Soccer fans out there! The blade on this one shows some age gray and evidence of cleaning which has somewhat lightened the etching. The fit remains nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point! This blade rates Exc/Exc+. The dent-free anodized scabbard has been period repainted black for NSKK. There is no oxidizing. There are two small hits to the front of the lower fitting but the ball is perfect. All four screws remain intact. The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect and closes with a snap! The reverse of the lower crossguard is marked "No" which is quite correct. The dark brown multi-toned grained hardwood grip has fantastic grain! There is honest wear to it but no chips or cracks. The eagle retains beautiful details. The SA roundel has a perfect fit and retains 100% of its enamel but it gas darkened a bit.
