A nice looking Army Dagger! The blade on this one looks good! The acid etched "E. & F. H?rster Solingen" maker mark is dark, crisp and beautifully executed! The crossgrain looks excellent! The tip comes to a perfect point and the fit is nice and tight. The blade rates an Exc+. It shows minor age pitting marks and surface scratches throughout. The leather buffer pad remains intact. The nickel-silver based scabbard provides wonderful detail with the random pebbling throughout and hand enhanced oak leaf and acorn bands! It remains completely dent free. The original throat retaining screws remains intact. The tombak based, nickel-silver plated H?rster crossguard provides wonderful detail throughout the eagle's head, wings, wreath and chest. The pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed with proud oak leaves and acorns. The orange, trylon grip on this one is near perfect! Yes the pommel and crossguard are correctly marked. Don't hesitate, this is the one to get!
