RZM 1198/39 SS Dagger by SMF

This one will surely fly off the self. The blade on this one is truly a beauty! It has a beautifully executed, "Meine Ehre heisst Treue" motto and "RZM 1198 / 39 SS" (SMF), maker mark! The tip comes to a perfect point, the fit is nice and tight and crossgrain remmains! This has been cleaned at some point and the blade rates Exc++. There is some minor dots of age, but that's it. What a beauty! The black painted scabbard body has a few very minor marks/chips and that's it. It remains clean, completely dent-free and has an excellent finish! The plated scabbard fittings are bright and look awesome! The ball remains perfectly round and all of the screws remain untouched, intact and unturned! The scabbard / crossguard fit is excellent! The plated crossguards look awesome with NO plating lifting! It very hard to come by that anymore! The grip / crossguard fits are perfect! The black hardwood grip is in absolutely beautiful condition! A few very minor pressure marks but that's it. No chips, scrapes or cracks. The eagle is beautifully detailed with a great fit! The SS roundel retains 100% of its enamel and also has a perfect fit. The few minor things I mentioned were only me being extremely anal. This one is over the top!
