A nice piece here by a rarer maker! The acid etched fouled anchor blade on this one shows honest age. The maker mark is nicely executed! The tip comes to a sharp point and the fit is nice and tight! The blade on this one rates an Exc+. There is age grey/spotting throughout. The original pebbled brown leather buffer pad continues to remain intact. The lightning bold style dent-free scabbard is brass based and gold gilded. It depicts nice details throughout with the hand enhanced tip, lightning bolts and oak leaf and acorn bands! Both throat retaining screws remain intact. The scabbard is well worn and evenly patinaed. The button continues to work well. The crossguard and pommel are also brass based and gold gilded. The two fouled anchors to the crossguard and unique proudly perched kreigsmarine eagle pommel are both beautifully detailed! The grip is wood based and covered in a white celluloid. It continues to remain in great shape being chip and crack-free. The brass double twisted wire wrap remains tightly intact! This whole thing has patinaed with time. Included is a decent set of KM hangers. A good piece at a great price!
