A decent matching and 2nd Model Luftwaffe Dagger by WKC! The blade on this one is a bit tired. The acid etched "WKC Solingen" maker mark is dark, crisp and beautifully executed! It has age grey and spotting the worse of which it to the reverse. The blade on this one rates a Exc. The original brown leather buffer pad remains intact. The original WKC scabbard is steel based with an airplane grey finish that shows honest wear. The scabbard still depicts awesome details throughout, with the random pebbling, oak leaves and acorns. It remains completely dent free and the single screw remains intact. The aluminium based Luftwaffe eagle crossguard has amazing detail to its head, feathers, wings and top side embossed oak leaves and acorns. The aluminium pommel and steel ferrule look awesome with those proud oak leaves and acorns. The early trylon grip has aged to a nice light orange over time. It is chip and crack-free. The springy aluminium wire wrap is perfect. Nicely finishing this is a portepee showing honest wear. A solid piece!
