Polished blade is certainly Exc++ with just the lightest runner marks and a few dots of age. The rare "Josef Munch" early double oval mark is correctly etched sideways. The hilt fittings are solid nickel with heavy nickel plating and remnants of the silver wash to the crevices. The crossguard quillion is caster stamped "K" to the end of the quillion and 100% of the enamel is intact to the swas's. The original leather is in good shape showing just minor wear and 100% coverage. The grip and scabbard are all matching in color, yes even on the intact buffer. The undented scabbard features a perfect ball but a small hit to the one side of the lower fitting. All screws intact and unturned. The throat is correctly marked with the DLV winged propeller symbol. This is all textbook, see Witty's reference. Finally the hanger is intact with a solid nickel clip but the hanger leather has been replaced.
