TENO EM with all the Accoutrements

Wow hardly ever do you find them with the hanger and portepee! The matte finished blade on this one looks good. The dark and crisp acid etched "Original Eickhorn Solingen" maker mark and proud TENO "Ges. Gesch" eagle, just above it, are dark, crisp and beautifully executed! Opposite to the maker mark is the etched serial number that reads: "1802", which exactly matches the scabbard throat! The tip and fit are both perfect! The blade rates a solid Exc++/NM. It shows minor age. The original black leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based, black enamel painted scabbard body remains completely dent free and retains 99% paint coverage! The odd scratch yet it is just beautiful! The plated fittings look excellent matching the hilt quite nicely. All four screws remain intact. The alloy based nickel-silver plated hilt looks wonderful as well! Look at the burnished highlights!! The TENO cog wheel and eagle shows beautiful details throughout and the burnishing really makes them pop right out at you! The hilt shows some wee bubbling spots throughout, yet it retains 99% of its plating! It is truly better than most! The white celluloid grip plates remain completely crack and chip free! They are well fit and tightly secured with two steel screws. If you pull these plates off you with find the underside embossed with the Eickhorn logo. Please don't though, I just mention for interest sake. This piece is special too because it comes with a quality black hanger and rare portepee! All the wee straps are intact but suffer wear and will break if you mess with them, these are all fragile anymore. It has a well working clip. The portepee is the real prize! It is in NM condition! Wow. A great complete example that will fit in perfectly with your collection!
