A nice add feature with the stag grips! The bright plated blade is in excellent condition! It has a lightly executed stamped “Original Eickhorn Solingen” maker mark, along with a solid fit and perfect tip. Someone has cleaned it. The blade rates NM. The original brown leather buffer pad remains intact. The black enamel painted scabbard has some surface scratches. 945% of the original paint remains intact and it is completely dent free! The original throat retaining screw remains intact and unturned. The scabbard fits the hilt perfectly! The zinc nickel-silver plated hilt looks good! It has some bubbling to the plating yet 98% remains intact. The button functions well. The multi-toned stag grips plates are perfectly fit and secured with 2 solid rivets. They are in near perfect condition with no cracks or chips anywhere. Nicely finishing this is a worn frog and portepee. A great piece with stag grip plates!
