Always a hit with collectors looking for quality, Kober made a superior product! The blade on this one is pretty good. There are some dots of age I have not tried to clean. If you go outside and turn the blade just so in the sun you can see tons of crossgrain! The blade has a perfect tip, excellent fit, good crossgrain and a dark and beautifully executed motto and maker mark! The dark motto will definitely make for a nice display. The blade rates Exc++. The brown anodized scabbard is good with 99%+ of the anodizing intact!! It has a small hit to the mid obverse. The ball has been dropped and it dented in. The fittings are solid nickel. All screws remain intact. The scabbard/crossguard fit is perfect! The solid nickel crossguards have minor wear throughout. The lower-reverse crossguard is marked "Th" (Thuringen) as it should be. The crossguard/grip fits are perfect! Look at that grip, it's freaking awesome!!The grip is in excellent condition with some minor wear and normal hits but no chips or splits. The solid nickel eagle is beautifully detailed and fits perfectly into the grip! The roundel is perfect. This piece has an excellent grip, and beautiful motto and maker mark, which will definitely make for a nice display!
