RZM M7/27 SA Dagger by Puma

Here's a good looking RZM piece with a nice dark motto! The blade on this one looks great. The crisp acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto is beautifully executed and the "RZM M7/27" (Pumawerk (Lauterjung & Sohn), Solingen) maker mark is a bit lightened losing most it's burnish. The crossgrain is stunning as it shines against the light, all the way from the hilt to tip! The tip is perfect and the fit is nice and tight! The blade rates Exc+/Exc++. The only negative on the blade is the fingerprint stain at the end of the motto. The steel based, brown enamel painted scabbard has 99% of its original paint still intact. There is some age crazing and I can find a small impression to the lower reverse when I hold this just so in the light. The steel based nickel-silver plated scabbard fittings look wonderful with 99% plating still intact! The ball remains perfectly round and all four screws remain intact. The scabbard/crossguard fit is near perfect! The alloy based, nickel-silver plated crossguards are in decent shape. They show the common plating loss with 99% coverage. The light brown hardwood grip looks excellent! It has no chips or cracks. The aluminum eagle is a bit worn yet still shows nice detail. The SA roundel retains 100% of its enamel and has a perfect fit! A good looking piece!
