Early SA by Johann Leupold with Vertical Hanger

Rating a 7 out of 10 on the McSarr rarity scale, here's a nice untouched piece with a certical. The blade has some age spots the worse of which are to the reverse. Motto is crisp and nice black! Good crossgrain remains. The blade rates a Exc/Exc+. Undented scabbard is in good shape with a small dent to the obverse just below the vertical. There is surface oxidation. There is some bruising to the ball but it still maintains it's basic original shape. The fittings show period wear and much matching patina. The fittings are all nickel silver. All screws are intact! Hardwood handle displays good grain and is free of cracks and chips. There is normal wee period marks and bruises from wear. Eagle is nicely detailed. Roundel retains 99% of enamel and is darkened somewhat. The crossguard is stamped "Fr". Blade is nicely set into the crossguard. Included is the original hanger which has been on there forever.
