A sought after maker! The blade on this one looks good! The stamped "Tiger Solingen" maker mark is beautifully executed! It has a tight fit and ends at a sharp point. The crossgrain is easily visible from hilt to tip. The blade on this one rates an Exc+. The blade has been cleaned and shows minor spotting throughout along with one wee hit to the edge. The buffer pad remains intact. The steel based airplane grey plated scabbard looks good. It depicts nice details throughout, with the random pebbling, oak leaves and acorns. The finish is worn. The aluminum bands show nice hand enhancing. It remains completely dent free and both headless throat retaining screws remains intact! The aluminum Luftwaffe eagle crossguard has amazing detail to its head, feathers, wings and top side embossed oak leaves and acorns. The ferrule and aluminum pommel look great! The orange trylon grip is practically perfect! Minor peppering yet no chips, hits or cracks! The aluminum springy wire wrap remains tightly intact. This one comes with the correct portepee! A great addition to your collection!
