A matching and desirable variation for collectors! The blade on this one looks great! The "AWS Alcoso Solingen" maker mark is beautifully executed! The crossgrain is stunning running the full length of the blade! The tip comes to a perfect point. The blade rates an easy Exc++. It shows the common age spotting/grey and runner marks throughout. The brown leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based, nickel-silver plated scabbard is in excellent condition! It provides wonderful detail with the random pebbling and oak leaves and acorn bands. It shows the slightest spidering to the edges yet remains completely dent free! The single throat retaining screw remains intact. The unique high-lift Alcoso specific eagle crossguard also provides crisp details throughout the head, wings, wreath and chest! The pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed with proud oak leaves and acorns! The plaster based white celluloid covered grip is in excellent condition! The whole piece has patinaed with age. An excellent looking Army Dagger!
