Gotta love how hefty these babies are! The blade on this one is NM with a matte black maker mark and TENO eagle. The blade has all it's grain, really a few witness marks from where the runners rested but other than that perfect. The four digit stamped number under the crossguard eagle of course matches the stamped number on the scabbard throat. The undented scabbard body retains 99% of the glossy enamel paint with spidering the worse being to the obverse with the odd chip and scratch. The plated fittings have 100% of their plating intact. All screws are intact and unturned. The hilt has a matte nickel plated finish over pot-metal, (as all of these are). There is plating loss throughout but the worse is to the reverse and best of all the eagle retains nearly all its original factory burnish. Really nice detailed crossguard. The perfect grip plates are well fit and secured with unturned screws. If you pull these plates you with find the underside of these plates embossed with the Eickhorn logo. Please don't though, I just mention for interest sake.
