A hefty and solid example by a maker rarely seen on RAD's! The matte finished blade on this one looks on. The acid etched "Arbeit adelt" motto and maker mark continue to remain visible. The tip is perfect and it has a nice and solid fit! There is some pitting and age gray as well as some light sharpening. It rates Exc. The steel based black scabbard looks polished up but still looks ok. It remains completely dent free! The steel based, nickel-silver plated fittings provide wonderful detail, throughout the RAD logo's and decorative interweaving top patterns! There is some age and spotting to these fitting, Four screws remain intact but they look to be aluminum. The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect! The steel based plated hilt is in good condition. It does show plating loss and light oxidation. The horn grip has beautifully aged, providing wonderful contrasting yellow/brown colors that only time can create. There are no cracks of chips anywhere and they remain tightly secured.
