Gorget in silvered non-magnetic metal, Hungarian Coat-of-Arms and motto ribbon “Tabori Biztonsag” riveted, reverse stamped “666”; chain is magnetic, was silvered, but silver wash is worn off; in near mint condition. Very scarce original gorget. Prior to the introduction of this WWII Hungarian Military Police Gorget (which is modeled on the German style Field Police Gorget) the Hungarian Field Police wore an enameled breast badge, making the military police hard to recognize; hence this design was adopted, similar in appearance to German police gorget.
