Most likely the most desirable of all SS daggers! Blade is an Exc/Exc+ example that shows some age grey and spotting and evidence of cleaning. Serrated-tail small Eickhorn maker mark is placed tight to the crossguard, as they all are. The motto is correct and correctly placed. Scabbard is dent free anodized finish. All nickel fittings with the screws intact. The ball maintains it's original shape with minor bruises and wear. The grip is a nice chunk of hardwood that has a hairline above the roundel and a good flake out of the lower obverse keft crossguard fit. There is also again homest period wear. This one has light pressure marks and evidence of wear. The runes enamel rates 100%. The eagle is correct hi-necked nickel version normally found on Himmlers. The hand chased crossguards are nickel silver and nicely fit to the grip and blade. The lower crossguard is correctly benchmarked. Scabbard fits great. All the fittinsg display evidence of wear. With minty examples reaching for the $15-20k mark this may be the affordable example you have been looking for.
