An excellent example of a numbered and personalized RAD EM Dagger! The matte finished blade on this one is in great condition! The acid etched "Arbeit adelt" motto and "RADJ Ges. Gesch. Ed. Wüstof Solingen" maker mark are both nicely executed! The fit is perfect, and so is the tip! It rates Exc++. It shows surface scratches and age spotting throughout. The steel based, black enamel painted scabbard is in great condition! It retains 92%+ paint coverage and remains completely dent free! It shows the common spidering throughout. The steel based, nickel-silver plated and black burnished fittings provide wonderful detail, throughout the RAD logo's and decorative interweaving top patterns! All of the screws remain intact. The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect and closes with a snap! The scabbard throat is personalized: "JP" (2 on each side) and numbered: "Fü. 461". The hilt is also numbered: "Fü. 462", one number off! The steel based, nickel-silver plated hilt is also in great condition, matching the scabbard perfectly! The stag horn grip plates have wonderfully aged, providing wonderful contrasting beige/brown colors that only time can create! There are no cracks of chips and they remain tightly secured by two screws. An great looking piece that is the right one for your collection!
