A nice one with all the accoutrements! The bright unmarked blade on this one looks great! The crossgrain is stunning running the full length of the blade and is easily visible as you shine it in the light! The tip comes to a perfect point and the fit remains nice and tight! The blade rates a solid Exc++. It shows heavy age grey/clouding throughout. The brown leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based and nickel-silver plated scabbard is in great condition. It provides wonderful detail with the random pebbling and oak leaves and acorns bands. It also remains completely dent free and holds 95%+ plating coverage. The throat retaining screws remains tightly intact. The alloy based nickel-silver plated generic eagle crossguard provides crisp details throughout the head, wings, wreath and chest! The pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed with the proudly displayed oak leaves and acorns! The wood based, celluloid covered grip looks wonderful. No cracks, chips or splits. This one comes with a worn 2nd model Luftwaffe portepee and a set of hangers! Both atypical alloy clips continue to work well. These clips are more commonly found on Hitler Youth Leader hangers. The cloth is in wonderful condition! A great addition for your collection!
