A matching and desirable variation with all the accoutrements! The blade on this one looks good. The obverse acid etched "ACS Alcoso Solingen" maker mark is beautifully executed! The tip comes to a sharp point and the fit remains nice and tight. The blade rates a Exc+. It shows heavy age grey/clouding throughout and the tip has a small wave to it. The brown leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based, nickel-silver plated scabbard is in nice shape. It provides wonderful detail with the random pebbling and oak leaves and acorn bands. It shows the slightest spidering to the edges, a pressure mark to the obverse and a 1mm hole towards the tip. Both throat retaining screws remains intact. The unique high-lift Alcoso specific eagle crossguard also provides crisp details throughout the head, wings, wreath and chest! It has minor plating lifting. The Alcoso pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed with proud oak leaves and acorns! The wood based white celluloid covered grip has a chip underneath the ferrule and a small crack to the top reverse. The whole piece has patinaed with age. It comes with a NM portepee and a beautiful set of hangers! Both clips work well! A solid Army Dagger!
