Wow you’ve got to love these WKC! The sailing ship etched blade on this one is excellent! The details to the frosted ships, fouled anchor and leaf motif are awesome and provide a nice contrast to the blade! The stamped knights head “WKC” maker mark is also beautifully executed! The tip is perfect, as is the fit! The blade rates a solid Exc++. It shows age spotting/greying and the common surface scratches throughout. The original red felt buffer pad remains intact. The brass based and gold gilded lightning bolt scabbard looks wonderful, especially with the hand enhancing towards the tip! It provides wonderful bright gilding and detail throughout the oak leaf bands and decorative motif. It continues to remain completely dent free. It retains both of its original side throat screws. The crossguard and pommel provide wonderful detail to the anchor and proud eagle perched on top. The crossguard button continues to work well. The orange trylon grip is a great treat on these. It looks great with only three we crack that are hidden by the knot. It has the correct double twisted wire wrap, that remains nice and tight. This one comes with the correct “cats-ass” portepee that is wonderful condition! This is a beautiful piece that deserves a great home!
