German WWII > Belt Buckles > Luftwaffe >
Here we have a tabbed Luftwaffe belt buckle! The buckle is constructed out of a die struck steel base that has been black painted. The obverse features a centrally placed Luftwaffe open winged eagle NOT clutching a swastika in one of its talons,( this has been denazified) on a pebbled background, that is all encircled by a laurel leaf and berry wreath that is tied together at the bottom, which then all lies on a smooth rectangle background. The steel prongs and catch remain in excellent condition! Attached to the prongs is a folded over and stitched brown leather tab. The tab is maker marked "H. Aurich Dresden 1942". A bargain for sure!
