Textbook 1st model rail! The plated blade is a good example with some minor plating lifting and just the lightest wear from where the runners rubbed. The logo is the stamped Klaas kissing cranes that is the most accepted maker for these rare daggers. The leather blade buffer is in place. The generic Type A crossguard has good detail. Someone, (who, when or where I do not know) scratched in their initials to the reverse. The typical Klaas grip is black trylon. No racks or chips. The scabbard is straight and true with nicely detailed bands featuring the distinctive Klaas astrix (*). The throat is retained by a two screws. Included is a frayed but still serviceable portepee. A very nice example at a reasonable price.
