Rare to find in such nice condition This comes with the 2nd pattern scabbard. This bayonet was factory altered to P1853/72 configuration with socket reduced to fit Martini Henry Rifles at R.S.A.F. Enfield in the early 1870's. Blade is bright with a single wee stain and British military markings. Socket and ring retain 90% dark blue finish with some minor surface oxidation. Comes in correct brass and leather scabbard with minor wear to leather surface and nice patina on brass. A fine bayonet for the collector.
