Japanese Type 30 Bayonet by Tokyo

Here we have a nice example of a Japanese Type 30 Bayonet by Tokyo! The fullered blade looks great! It has a solid fit and sharp tip! The Tokyo maker mark is beautifully executed. It has been sharpened about half of the way towards the tip. The are some age spots. It rates Exc+. The tubular tipped, steel based blued scabbard looks good. It has no dents but some surface oxidation. I would say 80% of the factory blue remains. The screw remains intact. The scabbard sits perfectly up against the hooked crossguard. The hilt is made of blackened steel. The birds head pommel has a well working button, is serial numbered to the top: "16756". The contour wrap-around wood grip plates show wear and are held securely by two screws. A great piece to add to your collection!
