Early Konejung SA Dagger

Here's an interesting SA. The blade on this example has some nice crossgrain but towards the tip shows age and stain. It has a perfect tip and it's been cleaned. The blade rates Exc/Exc+. The brown anodized scabbard is dented in to the obverse but this does not affect the blade insertion. There is some oxidizing and some evidence of wear. The solid nickel fittings are intact as are the screws. The ball has taken a good hit. The scabbard/crossguard fit is fine. The solid nickel crossguards match perfectly in shape and patina. The reverse of the lower crossguard is stamped "He". The grip/crossguard fit is excellent. The grip has a hairline up from the roundel. The solid nickel eagle is nicely detailed and fits nicely. The roundel looks perfect and continues to retain 100% of its enamel.
