A very rare pin missing from most navy collection! It is constructed out of a die struck alloy base that has been gold gilded. The obverse features a large U-boat surrounded by a cogwheel that is all below a Kriegsmarine eagle that is clutching a mobile swastika in its talons. The full back reverse has a soldered on tombak round plate knurled stickpin. It measures 1 ¼ inches wide by 7/8 of an inch tall. Just try to find another!
