Here we have an Early Model 1933 NSKK Dagger (Nationalsozialistisches Kraftfahrkorps Dienstdolch) by Ferd. Neuhaus of Solingen. The bright blade on this one looks good. The acid etched "Alles für Deutschland" motto and "Ferd. Neuhaus Solingen" maker mark are both beautifully executed! The fit remains nice and tight! This blade rates an Exc++. It shows evidence that it has been cleaned, along with runner marks, surface scratches, age grey and spotting throughout. The tip looks to be dulled. The scabbard is steel based and black painted. It continues to remain completely dent free and retains 95%+ paint coverage. It shows the common spidering throughout. The scabbard fittings are solid nickel-silver. The ball has a bruise to the bottom yet it continues to hold a nice round shape. All four scabbard screws remain tightly intact. The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect and closes with a snap! The reverse of the lower crossguard is stamped "Nrh" (Niederrhein). The brown hardwood grip shows nice graining and tones. It has cracks, chips, flakes and hits throughout. The solid nickel eagle is beautifully detailed and has a near perfect fit. The SA roundel has a perfect fit and retains 70%+ of its enamel. A good one.
