Wehrmacht Button by Assmann

Here we have a Wehrmacht Button by F.W. Assmann & Sohne, Lüdenscheid! It is a multi-piece construction made of die stamped silver washed aluminum alloy and plated steel. The round shaped obverse is pebbled. The reverse is marked “Extra Fine” and “A” (F.W. Assmann & Sohne, Lüdenscheid). There is also a crimped on aluminum round wire loop, to allow it to be stitched to the uniform. It is button Nr 23341 in page 28 of the F. W. Assmann & Söhn Sales catalog. It measures approximately 3/4 of an inch in diameter. Nice!
