Here's an excellent example of a completely correct WKC Army Dagger! The WKC marked blade looks good, it has some age but still is fairly bright, it retains a solid fit and ends at a perfect tip. The blade rates Exc+. It has been cleaned and shows some age greying throughout. The leather washer remains intact. The dent free scabbard is steel based and nickel plated. It provides wonderful detail with the random pebbling throughout and oak leaf and acorn bands! The original throat retaining screw remains intact. The alloy based, nickel plated "tomahawk" WKC crossguard also provides beautiful details throughout the eagle's head, wings, wreath and chest! The pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed with proud oak leaves and acorns! The grip is a rare variation the German's used for a short while and later discarded in favour of celluloid over plaster. The grip is made of a material derived from milk or all things. I love the white look of these! It is crack and chip-free. A correct and fine looking later period example.
