Nice early sword from the Vet's family this week at a great price. Look at the hand enhanced details! The blade on this one rates Exc+. There is some scuffs and wear towards the tip as shown. The original leather buffer pad remains intact. The blade is unmarked. This one is illustrated in Angolia reference pg 143. The black painted scabbard shows wear but no dents. The drag is numbered? Likely done in the factory to match up with correct blade length-Neat! The scabbard throat is secured by two dome head screws. The hilt and P-guard are beautifully detailed hand chiseled brass with honest wear to the high areas. The languet features an open winged hand enhanced eagle with denazifed swas. Too bad but speaks to it's history. The black celluloid grip is perfect. Three twisted wires remain intact and tightly secured.
