Here we have a Kreigsmarine Electric Technician Speciality Trade Badge Sonderausbildung Abzeichen für Elektrotechnik Lehrgänge). This would be worn on the upper left sleeve of the uniform. The base color of the insignia was to match the color of the uniform it was worn on. The oval badge is constructed out of a navy blue wool base with red machine embroidered rayon thread and has a protective lacquered painted backing. The obverse features a centrally placed red cog wheel with eight blitz arrows coming out of it on a navy blue backing. It measures approximately 2 13/16 inches wide by 3 5/8 inches tall. A nice one!
