Luftwaffe Observer Badge in Cloth

Here we have a Luftwaffe Observer Badge in cloth just purchased from a Vet's estate. It is constructed out of three colors of machine embroidered cotton threads on a Luftwaffe blue-grey wool base. The obverse depicts a detailed Luftwaffe open winged eagle that is clutching a mobile swastika in its talons. The eagle is in front of a half laurel leaf and berry half oak leaf and acorn wreath that is tied together at the bottom. the reverse has a cotton material that's been hand-stitched on it. The inside has been slightly filled giving the badge a 3D look. There are some traces of glue from where this badge was removed from the Vet's scrapbook. It is in wonderful condition!
