So hard to find a nice clean SS. Here's one I sold to a dear customer a few years back and now is back on trade. A nice blade on this example. There is the usual runner marks along with some very minor age spots. There has been no sharpening or nicks to the edges, the crossgrain looks great, the tip is perfect. The blade/crossguard fit is super, and the very distinct frosted motto and maker mark look great-exactly what you want for a display piece! The blade rates NM. The black anodized scabbard has no oxidizing and 100% of the anodizing intact along with traces of lacquer. It remains dent free. The ball is has a bump. The scabbard, crossguard fit is excellent! All of the screws remain intact. The solid nickel crossguards look great. The lower crossguard is district marked "I" (Munich). The crossguard, grip fit is perfect. The grip is beautiful. There is some commonly seen pressure marks but no cracks or chips, and I'm being anal here guys! Hard to come by grips like this anymore. The solid nickel eagle is nicely detailed and has an excellent fit. The roundel looks good retaining all of its enamel. Guys look all day for daggers like this.
