It is constructed out of an injection molded celluloid base. The square shaped obverse features a mother sitting in a chair, rocking her child that is in a cradle. This is above: “Kämpft Gegen Die Not Schützt Mutter u. Kind” (Fight Against The emergency Protects Mother & Child) and all lies on a checkered square background. The full back reverse has a recessed melted on oxidized pin that remains in well working condition. It measures approximately 1 1/16 inches wide and tall. Worn.
