Here we have an Army EM/NCO M40 Breast Eagle (Heer Hoheitsabzeichen). It is constructed out of machine embroidered grey and green (feildgrau) cotton thread attached to a green rayon backing. The rectangular shaped obverse features a grey Heer National Eagle with outstretched winged eagle, clutching a wreathed swastika in its talon. It is unissued and has mothing holes and soilage throughout. It measures approximately 4 3/4 inches wide by 2 1/4 inches tall. A fine piece!
