Here we have a Navy Able Seamen Rank Chevron (Kriegsmarine Obergefreiter's Armwinkel). Worn on the left upper sleeve. The base color of the insignia was to match the color of the uniform it was worn on. It is constructed out of dual gilt wire and blue thread on a downward pointing navy blue wool. It measures approximately 3 3/8 inches wide by 3 inches tall. Nice!
