Here we have a Navy Torpedo Control Foreman's Grade III Specialty Trade Badge (Sonderausbildung Abzeichen für Torpedo-Waffenleitvormann III). This would be worn on the upper left sleeve of the uniform. The base color of the insignia was to match the color of the uniform it was worn on. The oval badge is constructed out of a white cotton base with red machine embroidered rayon thread and has a white cotton backing and separately stitched on white border. The oval shaped obverse features a vertical torpedo above two chevrons. Thee wee spots. It measures approximately 2 3/4 inches wide by 3 3/4 inches tall. A nice one!
