Here we have a Model 1935 Army Dagger (Reichsheer Offiziersdolch)! The unmarked bright blade on this one is nice with some age spotting but still good crossgrain. The tip comes to a perfect point and the fit is perfect. The blade rates an easy Exc+.The brown leather buffer pad remains intact. The dent-free steel based, nickel-silver plated scabbard provides wonderful detail with the random pebbling throughout and hand enhanced oak leaf and acorn bands! The throat retaining screw continues to remain intact. The zinc-alloy based, heavily nickel-silver plated crossguard provides beautiful detail throughout. The pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed with proud oak leaves and acorns that have wonderful burnishing that make those oak leaves and acorns pop right out at you! The tylon grip on this one is practically perfect! Minor bumps but that’s it, no cracks or chips. A nicely matching example!
