RAD Leader Hanger by Assmann

A beautiful and rare set to find! Here we have a RAD Leader Dagger Hanger (Reichsarbeitsdiens Führer Dolchgehänge)! The buckles, bands and clips are all constructed out of a die struck aluminum-alloy base that has been silver washed. They all have a hint of detail with a decorative pebbled design throughout. The back connector is constructed out of a die struck steel base. All these components are all assembled to two brown leather hanger pieces, which have been stitched together at either end. They have adjustment puncture holes and two exterior pressed decorative lines running through the length of them. The leather is in wonderful shape, only showing minor age wear/crazing throughout. The back connector and the underside of both buckles are “A” (F. W. Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid) maker marked. It measures approximately 9 ¾ inches long. A beautiful set!
