Here's a fine looking period upgraded example! The fouled anchor etched blade on this one looks great! The details throughout the jet black etch are wonderfully displayed. The "Original Eickhorn Solingen" maker mark is beautifully executed! The blade rates an Exc++/NM. The brown leather buffer pad remains intact. The brass based, gold gilded, choice upgraded dent-free hammered scabbard is also in great condition! One throat retaining screws remain intact. The brass based hilt and pommel look great! The center-placed scabbard release button is steel. The proud eagle is beautifully detailed! The white celluloid, wood based grip looks great! It is crack-free. The double twisted wire wrap remains tightly intact! Finishing this is a frayed Navy knot that has been on there forever. A nice piece with some great features!
