This was worn by American members of the US European Rod and Gun Clubs during the 50’s to 70’s. Mostly hunters wore the badges, but were available to all members of the clubs. It is constructed out of a die struck multi piece copper base that has been riveted/soldered together and contains multi-color enamel work.The observe depicts a Red Deer's skull and antlers, with a blue, red, and white shield placed directly between the antlers, all on top of a green and white diamond checkered shield that reads: "Europe" to the top. The full back reverse has a well working soldered on pin assembly. It measures approximately 1 1/4 inches wide by 1 1/2 inches tall. This was for lapel wear.
