Here we have a WWII US Army Officer Visor Cap Badge. Die struck gilded brass. The observe depicts an eagle clutching arrows in one talon and a flower in another, the eagle also has a shield centrally placed on it's chest. To the top is an Insignia emblem, as well as the writing "E Pluribus Unum". The reverse has a screwedback device, and a single prong. It measures approximately 2 1/4 inches wide by 2 1/2 inches tall. A good example.
