2nd Model Navy Dagger

Here's an unmarked example purchased recently. The blade on this one is unetched. The tip is perfect, the fit is nice and tight and there are nice smooth edges and no nicks or sharpening. There is just a few hints of age. The blade rates Exc++. The red felt buffer pad remains intact. The brass, lightning bolt scabbard has a few dents and bumps towards the tip. Both throat retaining screws are intact. The hilt and pommel are nicely detailed with period wear and some gold gilding still remains. The crack and chip-free wood based, celluloid grip looks great with some dirt in the crevasse where the tight double twisted wire wrap remains.
