A M36 Whermarcht-Heer Oberleutnant Waffenrock. It is constructed out of a multi-piece field-gray and forest green (collar) wool. The wool is very clean with only the odd moth hole. The tunic has four pleated pockets with buttoned flaps (lower two are scalloped). There are six award loops to the left breast pocket. The front vertical closure has matte grey painted aluminum-alloy pebbled buttons. The collar tabs are machine stitched on. They are constructed out of a buckrahm and cardboard base that is covered in a forest green wool and stitched on bullion/flatwire and rayon threads, along with four white (infantry) twisted rayon service branch stripes. The Oberleutnant rank shoulder boards are the sew-on type. They are constructed out of a cardboard base that is covered in a white wool backing, with a stitched on Russian braid silver-flatwire covered cotton string, which is underneath a silver pip to each and attached with a button to the other end. The officer’s breast eagle is constructed out of hand embroidered silver bullion/flatwire on a green wool that has been hand stitched to the tunic. The interior is lined in a grey silk-rayon with white and blue lined arms. The one armpit has a 2 inch hole to the stitching. It is a small-medium size. A good officer’s tunic!
