A bronze Gau East Hanover Commemorative Badge 1933! It is constructed out of a die stamped bronze base that has been black burnished. The obverse features a centrally placed static swastika surrounded by “Gautag Osthannover Im Jahre Der National Social Erhebung” (Gautag East Hanover In The National Social Survey) and an oak leaf wreath, which is all below a prancing horse and “1933” within a decorative rope oval border. The hollow back reverse has a soldered on tombak pin assembly that remains in well working condition. It measures approximately 1 5/8 inches wide by 2 1/16 inches tall. A quality detailed badge!
