Hermann Göring Crystal Chalice

Gorgeous…These were presumably a gift for Reich Chancellor Hermann Göring on his 50th Birthday (January 12th 1943). Hand crafted by the Baccarat glass manufacturer in France. It is constructed out of two pieces of faceted heavy crystal glass that has been hand cut, contains frosted inlays and is finished with a gold rim. The exterior of the cup features; Göring’s family coat of arms surmounted by a helmet that is adorned with oak leaf and acorn barnches. The stem and base is six-sided. The base features six oak leaves. It measures 5 5/8 inches tall by 3 3/8 inches wide. 2 13/16 inch base. Not hard to guess that Göring was one of the richest men in the world. Don’t hesitate or this one will be gone.
