A Ehrendenkmünze “Dauerware”. Awarded by the Reichsnährstand in the 3rd Exhibition in Frankfurt 1936 to “Blut und Boden” members for their involvement/support/achievements in the processing of Durable Products. The non -portable award is constructed out of a die struck zinc base that has been bronze washed. The round shaped obverse features the Imperial ministry of food and agriculture emblem, which features an eagle with outstretched wings on a pedestal, above “Blut und Boden” and above an encircled mobile swastika that is behind a broad sword and wheat sheaf, that is flanked by two oak leaves. The emblem is surrounded by: “Reichsnährstand – Ausstellung 3. Frankfurt a.M. 1936”. The reverse has an oak leaf, grape, rose and wheat wreath that is tied together at the top and open at the bottom, that surrounds “Dauerware” (Durable Products). It measures 1 ½ inches in diameter. It shows some zinc pest. The award comes housed in its appropriate case. Typical wood and pressed covered in a simulated black leather. The top features a silvered emblem from the Imperial ministry of food and agriculture. Hinge and press button work well. Interior is well worn. The exterior is beautiful. It measures: 2 ¼ x 2 ¼ x ¾.
